Weekend Box Office October 30 – Nov. 1

Surprisingly Ridley Scott’s The Martian is still holding strong at the box office remaining in the number one spot again this week and bringing in close to $12,000,000, bringing its domestic total to $183,000,000.  With the new Bond and Peanuts movies opening this coming weekend it may dip down a spot. None of the movies that opened this weekend even made it into the top ten, Burnt opened at number six with $5,000,000 and Our Brand is Crisis only ranked 8 with just over $3,000,000. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse didn’t even make it into the top ten landing at number 12 and bringing in just $1,800,000.  Does this mean that the zombie movie craze has finally passed.  Hope so, it’s time for another sub-genre to rise so they can flog that to death too.
