Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows opened at number one with just over $35 million, which isn’t terrible, but it’s about half of what the studio was expecting. Mixed reviews are likely the cause. Interestingly, the top five films are scoring poorly on Rotten Tomatoes, whereas slots six through ten are scoring well.
