As predicted, Jurassic World is still dominating at the Box Office. After a record breaking opening, it has dropped appropriately 50% in it’s second and third weeks, and is still number one. Jurassic Park dominated the summer in 1993, and it looks like Jurassic World will do the same. It’s interesting to note that Inside Out added 186 theaters in it’s second week out, which can be assumed was to try to get a little back that it lost from Jurassic World last week. Despite mixed reviews, Ted 2 had a decent opening, considering it’s competition. “Mixed reviews” and “decent opening” tend to go hand in hand with comedy sequels, though.
