Marvel is resurrecting Vision (again) for an upcoming Disney+ series. Paul Bettany will be reprising his role of the Avengers synthezoid hero, with Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas joining as the showrunner.
The last time we saw Vision was in the season finale of Disney+’s Wandavision in which his physical body was brought back to life, in an all-white appearance form, with no memories of his previous incarnation. After his memories were restored by Wanda, and abruptly departed from the town of Westview, and his whereabouts remain unknown in the MCU to date.
The new series will mark the second spinoff of Wandvision, The Vision series will be the second show to follow from WandaVision, with Agatha All Along, starring Kathryn Hahn as Wanda’s Westview neighbor and fellow witch, Agatha Harkness, set to premiere in September.
Matalas is coming off season three of Star Trek: Picard at Paramount+. He also created and executive produced Syfy’s 12 Monkeys series.
