According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy has signed on to produce and star in a film adaptation of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso’s Vertigo’s comic book “100 Bullets” through New Line Cinema. The Eisner and Harvey Award-winning comic book series, which ran from 1999 to 2009, follows Agent Graves, a mystery man who presents strangers with a gun, one hundred rounds of untraceable ammunition and the identity of the person who ruined their life.
Hardy will be producing the film with Dean Baker, and it already has a script by Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes). We love us some Tom Hardy, and “100 Bullets” is itching for an adaption, so this has some great potential.
