Marvel Studios has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The preview reveals the worst-kept secret in the film—that Sue Storm is pregnant—and strengthens the relationship between Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and The Thing. We also get to see Reed Richhards in action, which we didn’t see in the teaser trailer. We also get our first look at Julie Garner as the Silver Surfer, and we get another tease of Galactus.
“Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ introduces Marvel’s First Family as they face their most daunting challenge yet,” the film’s synopsis teases.
“Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps cast includes Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Quinn as the Human Torch, and Moss-Bachrach as the Thing, with Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer, and John Malkovich and Natasha Lyonne in undisclosed roles.
