Variety is reporting that Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine, 12 Years a Slave, There Will Be Blood, Love & Mercy) is in talks to portray the Riddler opposite Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. He would join recently announced Zoe Kravitz, who will be portraying Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
No longer in the mix is Jonah Hill, who was rumored to be in talks to take on the role of the Penguin. No word if the character will appear in the film or not.
The Batman is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021.
