Neil Patrick Harris has stated that he would love to take on the role of the the Riddler in an upcoming Ben Affleck solo Batman film (which he is rumored to be considered for), provided we see a bit less of them then the last time he co-starred with Affleck. In a Twitter response asking if he would take the role if it were offered, he had this to say:
This could be a really good role for Harris. Thanks to his roles in Gone Girl and last season’s American Horror Story, he’s proved he’s got the acting chops to play a darker role. Plus, he’s no stranger to playing a superhero villain, thanks to his titular role in Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
