Marvel Entertainment has released the teaser trailer for their upcoming film, Thunderbolts*.
The studio is pretty tight-lipped about what we can expect from the film (and have added a bit of mystery by adding an asterisk to the title), but here’s what we know so far: For unknown but probably nefarious reasons, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) is putting together an oddball group of super powered people. Yelena (Florence Pugh), the “younger sister” of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, is in charge of this group, which also consists of Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) from Black Widow, John Walker (Wyatt Russell) from The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) from Ant-Man And The Wasp and Lewis Pullman as a new character called “Bob “(rumored to be the Marvel superhero Sentry). Also in the mix is Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), who seems to be working both for and against the team. We can also expect Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford) to pop up in the film (who will next be seen transforming into Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World).
Thunderbolts* opens in May of 2025.
