Marvel Studios will not be filling the seats of San Diego Comic Con’s famed hall H this year. They’ve opted out of their star-studded panel at the con in July.
Marvel panels are by far the highlight of most years, with participants camped out all night for a spot in the 6,500-person hall, according to the Disney-owned studio, which has always insisted it will only attend the con when it can genuinely deliver.
Marvel Studios unveiled an extensive schedule for their Multiverse Saga in 2022. The upcoming convention, which will take place from July 20 to 23, will take place while Marvel has put a hold on a few series, including Thunderbolts, Blade, and Daredevil: Born Again. Work is not anticipated to resume until after the writers strike, and as a result, Disney moved the release dates of a couple of its important movies last week.
