Prior to Warner Bros. announcing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at Comic Con a few years back, we just assumed we would see follow up to Man of Steel at some point. But BvS seemed to have filled that spot, so we didn’t give it another thought. But after Suicide Squad’s record breaking weekend, Warner Bros. is reportedly working on a sequel to the 2013 film.
A source is saying that Superman is a “top priority for the studio and getting the character right for audiences is of tantamount importance.” There are a plethora of other DC films will see first, including next year’s Justice League (which will see the return of Henry Cavill’s Supes), but hopefully a new MoS will give us a proper Superman movie.
