20th Century Fox already had us with the first trailer for Logan, but then they went ahead and delivered this glorious preview of Wolverine’s on screen swan song. The action is amped up from the first trailer, but still remains just as moody. And we finally see Wolverine in his classic X-Men costume (sort of). Here is the official synopsis:
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Can we all just agree that the X-Men franchise should just end here? If this film is half as good as it looks, Fox will be hard pressed to out do it. Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, and Dafne Keen, and opens March 3, 2017.
