​Lar Park Lincoln of ‘Friday the 13th Part VII’ and ‘Knots Landing’ Has Died

Lar Park Lincoln, best known for her roles in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Knots Landing and House II: The Second Story, has passed away after a lengthy illness. 

Lar Park Lincoln began her acting career in the mid-1980s, making her debut in the television movie Children of the Night (1985). She gained recognition with roles in films such as The Princess Academy (1987) and House II: The Second Story (1987). Her breakout role came in 1988 when she portrayed Tina Shepard, a telekinetic teenager, in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, a performance that solidified her status in the horror genre.

In addition to her film work, Park Lincoln was known for her role as Linda Fairgate on the CBS prime-time soap opera Knots Landing, appearing from 1987 to 1991. She also made guest appearances on various television series, including Hunter, Outlaws, Highway to Heaven, Freddy’s Nightmares, Tour of Duty, Murder, She Wrote, Space: Above and Beyond, and Beverly Hills, 90210.

After a hiatus from acting, Park Lincoln returned to the screen in the mid-2000s, appearing in projects such as the Lifetime movie Inspector Mom: Kidnapped in Ten Easy Steps and the horror-comedy Sky Sharks (2020). She also starred in 13 Fanboy (2021), a meta-slasher film where she played a fictionalized version of herself, and reprised her role as Tina Shepard in the fan film Rose Blood: A Friday the 13th Fan Film (2021).

Beyond her acting career, Park Lincoln was dedicated to mentoring aspiring actors. She founded Actors Audition Studios in Dallas, Texas, where she coached and guided new talent. In 2008, she authored the book Get Started, Not Scammed, offering advice to those pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

Park Lincoln faced personal challenges, including surviving breast cancer and the loss of her husband, Michael Lincoln, in 1995. She was a mother to two children, Piper and Trevor, and remained active in her community, balancing her professional and personal life with resilience.

Lar Park Lincoln was 63 years old.
