Variety is reporting that Netflix stars Kyle Chandler (Bloodline) and Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) will be starring in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the sequel to the 2014 reboot of the Godzilla franchise. Chandler will reportedly be playing the father of Brown’s character.
While little is know about the project, it has been rumored that only original cast member Ken Watanabe is expected to return. Michael Dougherty (Krampus) is directing a script by Zach Shields. Godzilla: King of Monsters is set for a March. 22, 2019 release, with the crossover Godzilla vs. Kong scheduled on May 29, 2020.
