Like the rest of Hollywood, Universal’s Jurassic World: Dominium was forced to shut down production back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the studio has confirmed that production on the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise will resume production on July 6 at Pinewood Studios in the U.K., with pre production resuming this week.
In addition to the strict coronavirus-related safety standards implemented by U.K., including a two-week quarantine for anyone entering the country, and by the British Film Institute and British Film Commission, Universal has state that they will be implementing health and safety protocols of their own.
Colin Trevorrow is returning to the franchise to direct Jurassic World: Dominium, and it will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Isabella Sermon,BD Wong, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman and Scott Haze.
The film is scheduled for release on June 11, 2021.
