Jurassic World continues to steamroll the box office and has now officially become the third highest grossing film of all time recently surpassing The Avengers. So it comes as no surprise that they have already started working on a follow up. I mean really, we saw that coming after opening weekend so it’s just a matter of the players. Well , it was confirmed that both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will both be returning in the next installment and the Spielberg will again Produce (which at this point I think means he says “yeah make another and put some stank on it” while he relaxes poolside and watches the money pour in). No word on a director as of yet, but we know Colin Trevorrow who helmed Jurassic World will not be returning, as he wants to move on to make original fare.
Considering the success of this latest outing, it’s pretty safe to say no matter who is involved, it’s going to make money and a lot of it; especially considering it’s two stars have already agreed to another dino adventure. Either way we will find out what’s in store next on Isla Nublar when the next installment hits cineplexes in June of 2018.
