Jon Favreau has confirmed that the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian will be returning for a second season in the fall of 2020. The show’s producer and frequent writer Tweeted the news, along with a a figure of a Gamorrean, which is a pig-lizard like creature best known as guards in Jabba the Hutt’s palace in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. It’s unclear if that means the second season will explore their home planet of Gamorr or focus on Jabba’s palace on Tatooine, the familiar planet which has already been the setting of an episode of the series.
