Jeremy Renner’s Broken Arms Replaced BY CGI Arms in “Tag”

The upcoming comedy “Tag” got a bit more costly when co-star Jeremy Renner broke both of his arms three days into production. According to John Hamm, who was on The Ellen Show to promote the film,  stated Renner’s arms were replaced by CGI arms as he continued to film the movie. Hamm revealed the Renner wore green-screen casts allowing post production to create replacement CGI arms. “Keep in mind this is a man who’s done a hundred ‘Avengers’ movies and been fine,” Hamm joked. “And he does a movie about playing tag… both arms, like firewood, just snapped like a matchstick.” Renner detailed his injury last year on an appearance on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Based on a true story, “Tag” tells the story of a  group of ex-classmates meet up and organize a game of tag that finds them traveling across the country.’Tag” opens June 15th.
