According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Franco will be directing a film based on the Twitter story of stripper Aziah “Zola” Wells’ escapades while in Florida. The film will be an adaptation of David Kushner’s Rolling Stone article “Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted.” The article, and the Tweets, chronicle’s a road trip to Florida with Wells’ friend Jessica, Jessica’s boyfriend and Jessica’s violent pimp “Z” that “led to prostitution, violence and murder.”
