According to a Tweet from Discussing Film, the fifth and presumably final installment of the Indiana Jones franchise will begin filming in 2020. The script has been in development for quite some time now. It was first written by Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull screenwriter David Koepp, then Solo: A Star Wars Story’s Jon Kasdan, and lastly This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman. It’s possible that we will get some confirmation from Disney at the upcoming D23.
