Netflix released the trailer for Adam Sandler’s long awaited comedy sequel, “Happy Gilmore 2” at their Tudum event in Los Angeles.
The returning cast members from the original 1996 film include Sander, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, and Ben Stiller, along with newcomers like Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, and Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny. The sequel also features professional golfers such as John Daly, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau.
“Happy Gilmore 2” is helmed by Kyle Newacheck, who also directed Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s “Murder Mystery.” The film is co-written by Sandler and Tim Herlihy, who worked on the original movie. Dennis Dugan returns as an executive producer.
Happy Gilmore 2 hits Netflix on July 25.
