Director Ridley Scott previously confirmed that Ryan Gosling will co-star along side Harrison in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel (it’s assumed Gosling will continue on for any sequels, taking over for Ford). In an interview with Collinder, Gosling himself confirmed that he will be starring in the film.
Gosling didn’t say much about the film, stating “there’s a chip in me and if I say anything more I’ll explode if I say anything else.” But he did say that it was director Denis Villeneuve and cinematographer Roger Deakins‘ involvement that persuaded him to take the part, and that it will be his next film role.
