John Turturro’s Jesus Quintana was just one of the many amazing things about The Big Lebowski, and thankfully, we’re going to be getting more of the Jesus. A sequel/spinoff of the 1998 Coen Brothers classic, centered on the pedophilic registered sex offender bowler Jesus, started filming this past August, and we have our first look at Turturro’s return as Jesus. The film, titled Going Places, was written and directed by Turturro (who will reprise his role as Jesus), and is actually a remake of the 1974 French film of the same name. Though the Coen Brothers are not involved in the film, they did give Turturro their blessing to make it, as much of the character of Jesus was Turturro’s creation. Going Places will also star Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tatou, Susan Sarandon and Sonia Braga.
