So, we’ve got our first real look at Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, and…well, here he is. Is it what we wanted? No. Is it better than Jared Leto’s Joker? At first look, yes. We’re hoping the silly painted on clown make up isn’t a permanent fixture on the character. We’ll know for sure when ewe get closer to the film’s release date of October 4, 2019.
