Director David Ayer has released the first official picture of Jared Leto’s Joker from the upcoming Suicide Squad. They are clearly going for something completely different than we’ve seen before, and after Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson, how can you not?
This take on the Clown Prince will likely be highly debated, maybe as much as the casting of Ben Affleck, but there is one thing we can all agree on- neither will hold a candle to Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.
We’ll have to wait until August of 2016 to see Leto’s take on the character.
