20th Century Fox has released the first official photo of Jamie Bell’s Thing from the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. This time around the Thing will be CGI, utilizing Bell’s motion capture performance, so it should be a measurable difference from Michael Chiklis’ rubber suit (which one may argue was a step down from the Optic Nerve Studios designed costume from Roger Corman’s unreleased 1994 film).
The trailer has had mostly positive feedback, although many believe it’s too indicative of Interstellar. We’ll find out when Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7, 2015.
