Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has one of the most iconic film soundtracks of all time, thanks primarily to Yello’s “Oh Yeah,” heard in the closing credits sequence, and Ferris’ parade lip syncing to Wayne Newton’s “Danke Schoen.” But despite the popularity of the music, an official soundtrack was never released. Until now.
According to A Journal of Musical Thing’s Alan Cross, La-La Land Records is finally releasing a soundtrack for the John Hughes classic, and will include not just the songs used in the film, but also the film’s score by Ira Newborn. Here is the track listing:
