We finally have a premiere date for the highly anticipated upcoming season of “Doctor Who.” The 14th season (of the reboot) of the international hit will debut on May 10.
The upcoming season will be the first to debut simultaneously across the globe onDisney+. Beginning on May 10 at 7 p.m. ET in the United States and abroad (apart from the United Kingdom), the debut will feature two brand-new episodes following the Christmas special “The Church on Ruby Road.” The season will debut on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom on May 11 at midnight GMT.
The new season will feature “Sex Education” breakout Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor, as well as Millie Gibson as his companion, Ruby Sunday. Fan favorite Russell T Davies will make his return to the franchise as showrunner, executive producer and writer. “At last, it’s my great delight to unleash a whole new season of the Doctor and Ruby’s adventures together,” he said in a statement. “Monsters! Chases! Villains! Mysteries! And a terrifying secret that’s been spanning time and space for decades. Don’t miss a second!”
A new trailer for the season will debut on March 22.
