Disney+’s “Daredevil: Born Again” is going through a significant creative makeover.
Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series is now looking for new writers to provide a fresh perspective to the program after parting ties with lead writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman. Executive producers Ord and Corman will stay on board.
Marvel has also gotten rid of the directors for the remaining episodes of the season, with less than half of the series’ eighteen-episode order having been shot before the start of the SAG-AFTRA strike. While Marvel hopes to take the show in a new creative direction, some of the previously shot material will be used.
Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, with Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk. Production will remain on hold until the SAG-AFTRA strike has been resolved.
