If you’re going to adapt a TV show into a film, it would be wise to start with a bad show. Theoretically, you can only go up. Baywatch was not a terribly good show, despite its mass popularity, so one would assume a film could only improve on it. If this trailer is any indication, that may not be the case.
The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, and is scheduled for release May 26, 2017.
