In what may be the most Marvel comics-inspired movie to date, Marvel Studios has given us a look at the Quantum Realm in the trailer for Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania.
In the film, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne and Lang’s daughter Cassie, explore the Quantum Realm and push their limits against Kang the Conqueror. The film features Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, as “time-traveling, multiversal adversary” trapped in the Quantum Realm who is an alternate-timeline variant of the character He Who Remains, the creator of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) introduced in the first season of Loki. The film also gives us our first highly anticipated look at the mutated, cybernetically enhanced villain M.O.D.O.K.
Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania starring, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, William Jackson Harper, Katy O’Brian and Bill Murray, opens February 17, 2023.
